Money On My Mind - 6” (150mm) Petty

“Money On My Mind" 6 inch (150mm) petty blade culinary knife. (Named by @meyer.quinn ) This awesome knife has a super strong wa style octagonal polyurethane resin handle. A skull 💀 sits atop a pile of money 💵 and gold, gazing forever out the butt of the handle. ⠀

The blade is made from molybdenum vanadium [stainless] steel, which is a mid-grade stainless steel hardened to HRC 57. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done, won’t rust, and easy to sharpen. You won't have to baby this knife. The edge angle is sharpened to 15 degrees and stropped for a razor sharp edge. Full flat grind (tapers from spine to cutting edge). The blade is 6” (150 mm) long, 1.122” (29.5 mm) tall, & 0.073” (1.85 mm) thick at the spine with a distal taper (gets thinner as it goes to the tip). Total length of the knife is 10.7” (272 mm).
